What are safe coolants for H220?

Go to solution Solved by Prophet of Entropy,

Im using Hydrx for my H220 atm, but I want to switch to something like mayhems or feser one

as long as you clean out all the old hydrx using either of those coolants should be fine.

Besides distilled and Hydrx, what are some safe coolants to use with my H220?

Any coolant that would work in another custom loop really. So distilled water, pre mixes etc.

Be sure to clean out the rad and pump before putting new coolant in though :)

If I recall correctly, the coolant in the Swiftech units is HydrX, either way you'll know as when you drain it you'll see the colour.

Even if it isn't the original coolant, it's recommended to be used with the H220 by Swiftech themselves;
"This product is recommended for use with the H220 series CPU liquid cooling kits."
