Hello, smart tech guys this is Lithuanian(EU) guy again!

 

Sorry to waste your time again (especially when I already asked new build question but I end up not buying it...) but this one is the last one I promise!

So there is my situation:

I'll play poker on this pc most of the time, but I could fire some games from time to time (Lineage 2 or Forza Horizon 4 on the list), my budget ~2k euros (I'll save more if I get advised by you), I want a 32inch 4k display so I could get as much screen real estate as possible to add as many poker tables as possible and I could see them clearly so I think 4k 32inch monitor is the best bet for it and pc build which could run few programs (can get power consumers pretty easily) at a time and playing and maybe watching movies or something on the next monitor (I'll use my old one for this), i read that GeForce RTX 2080 handless 4k best for that price so I think this one is a need too.

 

Build could be without monitor (i focus more on pc so it could last me longer) and I can save and buy it later and of course advice on which monitor get it later would be appreciated. 

Any build suggestions on this?

any color schemes you would like? would 1440p ultrawide monitor do it for you instead of a 32" 4k? do you need peripherals?

@TH3R34P3R @LukeSavenije Nothing fancy, i don't need colors or something like that if they don't improve power...  Budget ~2k euros, and yes about the monitor i don't know myself what is best for now, so for now forget the monitor, let's build just pc with all that in mind what i wrote before.

@LukeSavenije How much cache this would have? I read that more is better for strong software to handle or something like that?

What cache? CPU? First lvl? Second? 

SSD? Or hdd? 

 

Cache is a huge performance factor in an over all product but is saying nothing standing alone.

with a 4k monitor for ya too. now if you don't want 4k and i can do a superultrawide build with 3 1080p monitors, i can change config around.

i wouldn't be concerned about that. its not worth the concerning factor on that, as long as its modern, you're gonna be fine.

those prices arent bad. however, if you can find one on sale in a store near you perhaps, it'd be nicer. 

 

price tags on monitors tend to be large... especially good ones.

@LukeSavenije About the price..., I know that with 1.5k you could build decent gaming pc right? But I don't want to buy something today and change it in a few months, I prefer to invest more and have it for longer even if that 2k is not enough I would save more if you tell me that I should do that because that and that.., of course, bank for buc is always on my mind, I don't want to waste it on something I don't need, that why I mentioned 2080 GPU not 2080ti as an example...., I hope you get it because my English is not perfect...

@TH3R34P3R Espiacely prices go high when I start to look for monitors with g-sync and stuff like that..., but I don't even know do I need that feature...

If you just want gaming you are not making any real compromise in the Amd or Intel build from

You could do better with a 9900k but than again, do you need any better? Do you have any real productivity programs in use?

BTW. Nvidia is supporting free sync starting January 15th

So no reason to spend to much on gsync. A decent free sync display will do

you don't really need gsync. i have 2 freesync monitors, and i have no problem with my Nvidia GPU. 

 

also, nvidia is doing something along the lines of adopting freesync, so that also kills gsync further.

i don't think so... gsync modules are pretty expensive

They will still selling Gsync for a premium because they will claim it is a better experience.

And there will always be that one guy who pays double for a 1% increase and he wants to have something premium
