LOL - the one Linus tore apart in today's video? Epic. Personally - waiting to see benchmark results for thermals and performance before forming an opinion. I'm hopeful it's more functional than gimmick-ee, as this will provide yet another option for those who want to do mild -> moderate OC-ing of their GPU with the convenience of an AIO cooler. I mean, custom loops are sexxxy AF, but - ugh - that maintenance though.

it's great if you plan to voltage mod the card, otherwise it's the same 3-5% increase over the FE.

My Opinion is that you would need lots of disposable income to buy it.

Damn....

I'm not so sure the use of water actually helps, it's still just got a decently bulky surface area. Maybe the water makes it more efficient, but conventional wisdom says otherwise.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I need?

The only point of a closed loop cooler is to empty the heat outside of your case, which this does not do. Asus being Asus, Expected actual price: 1500-1700$.

a 20-30% increase over the strix does not seem unreasonable.

Should you get it?

No.

buy a gpu with a waterblock, and go for custom loop, or just stick with a aircooleed card.
