i have a pc here which seems to work fine but every now and then it gets a slight problem. the monitor will loose signal for a second and the sound cutts out. it passes after 2-3 seconds and goes back to normal. there is also some flickering when the pc loads up games (i think that is the cable though as it stopped flicking on a dvi i swapped). my thinking is gpu is messing up or the drivers on the motherboard. . any help would be appreciated so i know where to start. thanks guys. specs are gtx660ti, 4gb ram 1600hmz corsair (single stick), gigabyte GA-F2A55-DS3 motherboard (this could be it as i had probelms in the past regarding the bios), athlonii 750k fm2.

Are you running the latest drivers? Are you using DVI or HDMI? I'd start by checking up on your drivers to ensure you have the latest ones, then work from there. Download GeForce Experience and it'll let you know whether or not your drivers are outdated and will notify you when new ones come out.
