My PC keeps freezing at random times...
Most of the time, the PC freezes for 3-5 seconds with a buzzing sound coming from my speakers.
There are times where the PC freezes for maybe 2 seconds, then I get no sound from it for another 3-4 seconds and a window pops up "which device did you just plug in"(front speaker / headphones).

The PC is new, so it's not a new update that caused this, also I took it to a repair shop, where they updated and installed all the necesary drivers, to get the same result as before.

The PC's temps are normal when idling and gaming.

are all the cables for audiodevices plugged in properly? this sounds (get it?) like a issue with cables or connection in ports

the cables are plugged in properly, also, it doesn't really matter if i plug the cables in the motherboard or in the front ports of the case

try and see what happens. if the connection is good, it *may* be that the cable itself is bad

already did, plugged in the cable of the speakers to motherboard and front ports, did the same with the headphones, with the same result

Try using the pc without any audio devices plugged in for a while. If it still freezes with nothing plugged in it could be an internal hardware issue

my monitor uses displayport to play sounds, so do I disable that aswell, or should it be fine ?

You can leave that enabled at first, and if it still freezes then disable it. The idea is to work by process of elimination and remove things that could possibly be the cause until the issue stops.

if this works, could it be a bad mb ?
