gpu fan not spinning

WASDIsKing

Hello! Recently ive been having a problem, my gpu, a gigabyte geforce gtx 1050 3 gb, my drivers are all up to date and it works perfectly! after about 3 games to "Warm it up" in fortnite. this might just be fortnite, but my drivers are all up-to-date and another intresting thing the fans do not spin, as you can see by the title. sometimes my whole computer will crash even if im just on the web or anything like that. idk what i should do, this might be caused because my fans dont spin, im not a huge nerd so if anyone has any solutions and you have the time, please tell me what i should do, i cant find anything online so i resorted to here!

Thank you for your time

What's your GPU tempature? When the tempature is low enough the fans don't start to spin.

iirc, at least on my GTX 1060 6GB, the fans will not spin up unless the gpu goes above 55c, to be quiet unless put under load. Keep in mind if you download MSI Afterburner, you can set a manual fan curve to mitigate this- if you're worried.

Otherwise, it's built into the hardware to not turn the fans on unless it has to.
