Asus B450-f with Ryzen 5 2600 and a Samsung 970 EVO with 250 gigs. All loaded it takes minutes to completely boot up. What could be causing that?

Thanks

when you got the SSD, did you do a fresh install of windows?

Good suggestion.

When setting up the system I installed almost all of the Asus Utilities that were on the disk that came with the Motherboard. That was the cause of the slowdown. With everything installed it took minutes to boot. Without the bloatware it takes seconds to boot. Lesson learned.

You shouldn't need any of that software unless you just like something specific. The only thing I'm using for my current motherboard is RGB Fusion. Everything else through BIOS. Obviously you still update your BIOS/Chipset/Drivers to the latest. But the software, yea, no thanks.

And use CCleaner. It lists more items than task manager does for both start up and uninstalling programs. Plus keeps it running smooth if you're not use to maintaining your PC.
