well, it isn't getting better. I keep by my recommendation for different reasons.

1; it's dangerous and can cause fire, explosions and many more

2. I never did and am never going to do psu mods

a PSU has many components and stages before it gets to the output, it's not just only capacitors.

 

and honestly if you don't know anything about electronics then don't do it, you're playing with high voltage and complicated stuff, if you're interested in those kinds of things then start with something simple
