Storage: Western Digital - Blue 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  
Storage: Seagate - Barracuda 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  
Video Card: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6 GB SC GAMING Video Card  
Case: Cougar - MX330 ATX Mid Tower Case  
Power Supply: EVGA - SuperNOVA G3 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply 

 

this is the mother board i have with the stuff being plugged into it i dont plan on up grading my cpu or overclocking for awhile. my main question is, is it a viable motherboard to use

i honestly dont really see a difference mobo's. the only difference really is the vrm, looks, and uefi. for a 2600 the vrm doesn't really matter. looks are up to you. UEFI is generally the best with asus msi and asrock

good enough if you are ok with the looks and uefi. if you get ryzen 7, might wanna upgrade the mobo for better vrm. for 2600 its good.
