Cloud Revolver Users PLS HELP

So I bought my cloud revolvers yesterday, and they sound great, but I feel like it doesn't fit my head. The cushion headband, when I use it, goes all the way up to the steel frame, this way the earcups stay below my ear... even when I put the headset on my hand the headband meets the frame... I feel like its missing tension. Is this normal? Or it got damaged on shipping? I have 10 days to return it, if it got damaged I'll do that
