I recently decided to upgrade from 8 GB to 16 GB of RAM in my PC. I had a 2x4GB kit of G.Skill Ripjaws V at 3200 Mhz and I purchased an identical kit to get to 16GB, but I have not been able to get it to its rated speed of 3200. Before I upgraded it was running fine at 3200 but now it will not run at this speed. I have tried to use an XMP profile but it still says it is at 1866. I have also tried manually overclocking but it still says 1866. I also tried to run it at 3000 speed but due to my inexperience with overclocking it was not stable. I have a Ryzen 5 1600 and a MSI B350 Tomahawk motherboard. I would like to run the memory at 3200 to benefit the Ryzen CPU but I am not sure how to get it to this speed.
