USB Fast Charging on PC

Got a Moto G6, I want to fast charge it. USB 2.0 ports don't do it. Is there a way to make a port "passthrough" to charge faster, or do I need to use a USB 3.0 port? I have an appropriate fast charging anker USB-A to USB-C cable. Any feedback appreciated.

I believe its a USB Standard limitation, I believe its 500mA per port on USB2 and USB3 900mA per port. Some motherboards have dedicated 1.5A ports for charging but thats still 7.5W charging. Thats still slower than QC1 (which is 10W) let alone QC2-3-4. You gotta use an QC or high amperage charger for it.

Is the G6 wall charger not one of those that has a dependant 12v feed for super charging?
