i see m.2 drives have differents sizes, i'd like to know if this drive: https://www.megekko.nl/product/5093/218011/

will fit in my MSI B450M Gaming Plus

just to make sure i dont buy a product i cant use :)

Thanks in advance!

That will fit just fine.

Also, damn 25 bucks is cheap, but remember it's just a SATA ssd with the m.2 form factor, it's not an NVME driver.

Yes, that's the most typical size for PC M.2s, 2280.

The MB takes it...

1 x M.2 slot (Key M)

Supports PCIe 3.0 x4 and SATA 6Gb/s 2242/ 2260 /2280 storage devices

It will fit, but keep in mind that it's still a DRAM-less SATA SSD, the worst performing type of SSD. Still eats HDDs for breakfast in speed, but no match for other types of SSDs.

Just know that even tho you might have less cables, you might be actually going backwards speed wise.

What SSD do you have now?

just a kingston a120 ssd, but what do you guys think off this? https://www.megekko.nl/product/5093/244504/SSD-M-2/Gigabyte-SSD-128GB-NVME-M-2

Well at least it's nvme, but gigabyte just buys ssd's from someone else, rebrands them and sells that to consumers, but i have no idea what ssd it actually is.
