So I have a laptop which struggles with its gaming performance, I saw a video and it said that GPU enclosures existed through thunderbolt, I have a port on my laptop but you stated it much be 4x not 2x how could I check

most enclosures if not all use thunderbolt 3.
you can check if your laptop has that, and if it supports external gpu's.

it would be nice to know what laptop you have.
because we can't helpt you as well as we would like right now.
