CPU and MotherBoard issues

I just started my research to build a pc adn i wanted to buy an Athlon200ge with a MotherBoard a320m-hdv from Asrock, and i was watching the avoiding common pc building traps saga, and there is a part where linus says that there are some motherboards that do not allow the update of bios with certain processors. How do i know if i can update my bios with the cpu i want to buy?

Your motherboard will not support a Athlon 200GE out of the box, and you will need a donor CPU in order to update the BIOS.
