Hi everyone I need some help I am stuck and I am not getting my problem solved by searching for it on internet.  My RAM is G.Skill Trident Z 3000mhz (8x2)  16gb.  I can only get it to run at 1440mhz appx. Ive tried different slots, updated MoBo Bios, manually set Ram type in BIOS and still no luck.  At the moment I now have it in the Mobo recommended slots A2 & B2.   I am including a lot of pictures in hopes that I make it easier for you all to help me.  Thanks in advance!!!

Edit:  PC is running great with no issues just OCD that my RAM is not testing to rated spec...

UserBenchmarks: Game 108%, Desk 99%, Work 103%

the dd in ddr mean double duty so 1440 multiplied by 2 is 2880 so effectively 2888 speed ram and the 1500 speed is 3000mhz your ram is fine. The JEDEC speeds you see is the rated stock speeds which max out at 2133 so 1066 and anything higher is technically an overclock thats why XMP is a thing ( Extreme Memory Profile)

So you are saying it is working as intended?  Why am I not seeing appx 3000hz anywhere in my testing?  Even my benchmarks have the freq at half of 3000mhz.

You have to go to the bios(last image) and go to DRAM TIMING CONTROL, your ram manual will have the timings that you need to manually set(it will be a set of 5 number that you needto enter in)

I will try this tonight after work and report on my outcome ty

because its double duty so it runs at half but when you factor in the double part it is actually at full speed
