Rtx 2080 ti should do nicely. Also, streaming is CPU bound unless you use NVENC

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

I heard the 2070 and 2080 weren't very solid yet has that changed or were the mistaking?

It's all good now

Too much by what metric? They seem just enough to me.

Cause I was looking at a 1080 to but didn't want to pay the $1500 for it. Is Asus good for GPUs?

Asus makes good graphics cards but bad customer service, I like buying their products but not calling them when they break.

by the metric that i have watched tones of streamers and the average gpu they use is around 1070/1080, (Usually lower)

Which doesn't matter, the 2080 ti is obviously price restricting so the majority of streamers would not purchase one. It makes for a good gaming experience so it would be fine to buy if OP wants a top tier gaming experience while streaming.

Not familiar with CPU encoding

What do you use to stream/record?

With CPU encoding you will be using OBS. Which is pretty much the Go-to streaming/recording software.

Then it should be set to CPU encoding. Or you just swap encoding type to the on that is not hardware accelerated

It's the default encoding method. You've probably been more familiar with it but assuming that the GPU does it, very common mistake

So, how much do you want to spend so we can make better recommendations?

I made the 2080 ti as a sarcastic comment along the lines of "post a budget or people will recommend something you can't afford" but then OP just rolled with it, apparently someone has deep pockets.
