GPU Bottleneck Inquiry

I just recently got a GTX 1080 for my computer that has an Intel core i5-6402 (which only goes up to 3.2GHz). I'm wondering if the GTX 1080 is being bottlenecked by this processor and if so, how much more fps could I get if I get a better processor?

check the actual usage and you can tell us if it's bottlenecked or not

What resolution? In general you will want a 4790k or above.

It will in CPU bound games, before buying the 4790, i had the i5 4670 and it bottlenecked my 1070 in games like COD,BF, even in CSGO (not much bottleneck but more smoothness), that to 1080 p, above that the cpu will be ok

What games? 4790k has trouble with intensive stuff. BF1-5, BO4. Only reason I got a 8700k. Now I can use atleast use one of my 1080's.

The CPU is not powerful enough to drive a 1080 properly.. imo
