poor gpu usage help

How about CPU?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

What game? cpu usage per core? Ram speed?

Open task manager, right click on cpu and show logical cores. Checking the bios would show the ram speed, prolly set on auto.

Long enough to not be in the prelobby before the plan drop. Same with drone and prophase. 5 mins should be enough.

 

Also click on view and change refresh speed to low on the task manager.

You don't, just leave task manager running in the background. Then alt tab out of the game and look at it.

 

Or use a second monitor. I think you can get the fraps program and use an overlay if you need to see it in game.

If it shows cpu usage sure. But the whole point of task manager is to see all the cores.

Maybe tomorrow night. 

 

But its super simple. Start task manager on the cpu tab. Leave it there. Play a game and after a few minutes, look at it. Should look similar to this. 

 

If you still have issues, we can try once I’m off work tomorrow.

Need to get an FPS counter up. Are you using v sync in the settings?
