When i play a game lines start coming after 2 minutes after the game loads up and the perfomance is very poor. The platform use is hp pavillion laptop. But i did not have this issue previously while playing the same game(fortnite). Previously i got 30 to 45 fps and now i am getting 5 fps and the game is unplayable. And this is arises for all the games now like gta 5 and Project cars 2 which used to work fine previously. I have not made any hardware changes though and tried updating the software drivers and even reinstalled windows. How do i solve this issue.

But there are no such lines in benchmarks like unigine valley and furmark.

See if your laptop is in power saving mode. That usually butchers performance haha. You can try getting something like MSI Afterburner or another software of your choice to monitor temps and usage etc of GPU/CPU. Just so I know is it an APU or a CPU + discreet GPU? Something could've happened to the GPU if it's discrete and that's why it might be switching over to integrated graphics? I don't know though. More info is appreciated in this kind of debug :)
