Is it possible to use any bios on your mother board?

I have an i5 6500 right now and would like to overclock it but the bios i have right now (American Megatrends INC: Version"F4" 10/22/2015) does not allow it or its not in the bios config.

I have a Gigabyte H110M-A-CF motherboard right now

BIOS mods are possible, albeit extremely difficult, and often not worth it (it cannot unlock any hardware limited features). Those who do dabble in it usually do so for fun.

BIOS mods cannot unlock any features for which the supporting hardware does not exist. In your case that means that there is nothing you can do to turn your H110 motherboard into a Z170 motherboard, short of swapping them out and pretending that the new motherboard is the old one.

ENCRYPTION IS NOT A CRIME
