Bottleneck

My rig has i5 2400 and msi 1050 ti...i get major lag on some games what kind of bottle neck is that a gpu or cpu one...

mostl likely 1050 ti. the rx 570 or 580 would be a boon. Though the Cpu will start limiting you at some point as well.(though looking at HWinfo64 or WindowsTaskMAnager and seeing your idle and at load % would be required.)

 

you have a very good 720p ultra settings build

 

but at 1080p and up, your gpu and then you cpu will need to be upgraded
