I've got about 350 euros to spend on upgrading but I'm not sure what I should get first.

My current PC:

i5 4460

8GB DDR3

GTX 960 2GB

Corsair CX600

I'm looking to upgrade either CPU & RAM or the GPU, mainly been looking at the Ryzen 5 1600x, a B450 mobo and 16 gigs of ram or just a brand new 1070/used 1070ti.

I'm mainly going to play games (R6/BF1/PUBG) on the PC with light clip cutting in vegas.

I'd go for the GPU once the 2060/1160 comes out. For gaming, that processor is just fine, especially with four cores.

Also, imo 8GB is fine as long as you're not looking to have lots of tabs open (Linus made a video) and for gaming it's excellent.

I'd look for a 1060 6GB or a 980ti once the new stuff is out and the old generation is cheaper. Or if you're really feeling it, get the 1160 *smirky face*

GPU wise I'm also thinking about the new Navi series from AMD, seems promising (1070 + 15% faster iirc).

Also the Inno3D 1070 is only 330 euros here (20 more than a 6GB 1060) and used 1070Ti's go for the same price, but they're mined GPUs :(

For RAM I guess 8 should be enough, I can always get another stick later on if I need it.

i would suggest getting a z series mobo, together with a 4770k or 4790k, another 8 gigs of ram, a good cooler, maybe a new psu, as I'm not a big fan of the old cx series, and maybe a second hand gpu if you have any money left

I'm looking to either upgrade the CPU, RAM and Mobo OR the GPU, not all of them at once, especially with my budget.

Also I'm trying to move away from DDR3.
