Weird Sound? Help!

Hey!

SO This is a very odd question.

 

After a bit I've been noticing this sound from my computer, I can't really tell it's doing any kinda harm (As in it's not really affecting anything I see on my computer)

I don't really know how to explain the sounds... But that sound when you shut your computer off its like a quick little ring sound i dont know how to explain the sound.. LOL 

 

any idea what it could be? IT happens so randomly but its at least 2/3+ times I hear it

Hmmm, It could actually be an HDD thing, now that I think about it, it kinda sounds like it un-wines for a split second.

 

I could record it, But the sound is so random its hard to cx

When I had a failing PSU, it would make a squeak sound like mouse, every time I would shut my computer down. I'm not at all suggesting this is what's happening. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

It could be coil whine. While harmless, it can get worse (and more annoying) over time. It can be coming from your PSU or GPU.
