Why Ryzen 1000 though? First gen is very picky when it comes to RAM compatability and is slower than Ryzen 2000.

Main system: Ryzen 7 7800X3D / Asus TUF Gaming B650-Plus / G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO 32GB 6000Mhz / Zotac RTX 5090 SOLID OC/ x2 WD_BLACK NS770 2TBs/ Corsair HX1000i/ NZXT H5 Flow

more than 2666 is considered an overclock and AMD do not guarantee your success. 3000MHz is usually doable with updated BIOSes.

The faster the RAM the better for Ryzen in particular. but you wont loose a whole lot from 2666 to 3000. even with apps that scale linearly is 12%. If you can buy the 3000mhz if not possible then dont suffer, it's good enough.
