you're no caveman, you just have a stuck caps lock.

 

Is that a 2.5" SSD or M.2 SSD?

1. Your PC must be pretty small to have a GTX 750 be way too big.

2. What do you mean 'extender cable'? If the card doesn't fit it doesn't fit. Please, don't try one of those extending cable things to put the GPU outside of the case. It's an honestly horrible solution.

replace the CPU cooler with one that doesnt block PCIe slots then, or put the graphics card in the second x16 slot if the board has one

What does this mean? Also, remember to use the quote button for replying to people. Also, please Google your problems before asking the forum, I think you'll find many convenient solutions there. Pictures being added to the original post helps too, I am getting a very bad mental picture given what you've described.
