RTX 2080

I running 2 1080s on a i7 7700K. Would I see a good performance boast  if I bought a 2080?

a 2080 ti would make more sense (or sli)

 

but do you feel like you don't get enough performance, because two 1080s is best

For most situations you wouldn't see a significant increase in GPU power and if your really lacking that much power there probaly are bettre options

I am happy with my performance but I am a graphics junkie so as to speak.. Just wanted to get peoples opinion if the 2080 single would out do 2 1080s..

no it will be a downgrade mostly apart from games that dont support sli, i went from 2 980tis at 1550mhz to a singe 2080 at 2050mhz and performance is identical pretty much in games that support sli , so i assume ur 1080s out perform my 980tis unless there throtling or none oced or something, 
it would make more sense for u to get a 2080ti and even then u probly already have tht performance in sli 

and rtx isnt worth bothering with so far as its basically a gimic in bf5 u look at it for a few mins and think wow thats cool then tur it off so u get ur 150 fps ect
