High Firestrike Score, But VERY Low Timespy Score

Hey, everyone!

 

I wanted to see if anyone has any ideas why I'm getting off-and-on performance issues. My Firestrike Score for my EVGA 1070 SC edition are over 18000, which is comparable to the 1070's average bench, but my Timespy graphics score is only 3000, half as much as what I should expect.

 

I just updated my graphics driver to 417.35 when I put my first water loop together a couple days ago. GPU usage is 100% and there is no clock or memory speed throttling; temps max out at 40 degrees Celsius.

Ok, so 40C is not a temp related issue. Can you re-run Timespy with MSI afterburner running in background and post here your Timespy settings with your rig configuration and a screenshot of the MSI afterburner sensor charts?. I believe you are hitting some ceiling elsewhere.
