hey guys, i got a 4gb ddr4 2133mhz ram. now i am planning to upgrade my ram, my question is can i buy one 8 GB or i need to buy dual channel to make it work properly.

Cpu :- Intel core i5 6402P 

Mobo :-  gigabyte b150m-ds3h-cf

Ram :- 12 gb DDr4 - 2133 cl 14 288

Gpu:- ASUS ROG Strix Gaming RX 570 OC 4GB

psu :- Corsair VS550 550-Watt

You can buy one 8Gb and pair it to the 4Gb for 12 total but it's best to at least try to match speeds and brand/model.

So all i need to do is to buy a hyperx ddr4 2133mhz?  since any gb would pair perfectly with my 4gb

should be fine. as long as the timings and clocks are the same (doesn't have to be the same on the spec, they will clock to the worst one
