I need help.

I have two questions. First, if I wanted to stream in 1080p 60fps, how many cores would need to be used and at what clock rate. The second is for gaming w/ a 165hz monitor at 1440p, how many cores at what clock rate and what is a recommended gpu also.

Thanks

The 1700 & 2700 are good cheap processors for streaming and gaming. For 1440 165hz I'd probably go with a 1080ti, 2080 or 2080ti.

steaming=8 cores recommended, with hyperthreading, that narrows you down to 1700/2700 or 9900k

gaming at 165hz leaves u with the 9900k and 1440p 165hz limits you to 2080/2080 ti.

You might want to wait a few weeks until CES 19 for prices to fall.
