5 second delay when changing wallpaper

Hello everyone. So I'm having a problem with wallaper on windows 10. Everytime I change wallpaper t take like 5 seconds before the new wallpaper shows. This started happen randomly a while ago. I didn't have other issues that might have caused this so I'm not sure what to do. Just so u have more info, I use Eset Antivirus and Hitman Pro Alert. Latest windows driver

If you only use a single static image then how frequently do you change the background to where 5 seconds is a problem?

I smell a format LOL,  No but honestly get rid of the viruz apps and try it out.  If still happening and this 5 second delay is bothering you then its time to format my friend.

 

But how often does one change that picture once a month maybe ?  Or you have COCD or something. computer obsessive compulsive disorder

I like to change wallpaper often. Besides the fact that that happens annoys me bcs means there is something not working as intented. Plus while this is happening if I click the screen or any icon sometimes the computer freezes completely and I have to restart.
