Idle temps vary from system to system, and they will also for overclocks. Every CPU is different, and none overclock quite the same. Most people recommend keeping it around or under the mid 80s in celcius at max load.

I have recently purchased an i7-9700K (stock speeds), but haven't had the chance to put it through it's paces yet. I did run Cinebench and found that my temps never went above 50C. Though I do have a Corsair H60 (2018) AIO cooler.

Stop and think a second, something is more than nothing.
