Long Range

I have a friend that needs to run ethernet from his house to his garage, about 150-200' depending how it is ran.  What are some good routers or switches that wouldn't be to expensive and could support this distance.  He will be running the cable underground.

Its more the cabling you have to worry about. Cat5e and Cat6 can support 1Gbps up to 100m or about 320ish Feet. Thats all that matters, is that your with in that distance limitation of the cabling. 

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
