GPU sag

Go to solution Solved by Mick Naughty,

That’s fine. I do the same with a zip tie. Kinda hard to see. But support is the only real fix for sag.

So I just build a PC with MSI RX 580 Armor, and it sagged like a 5mm, so I took a plastic "wire" that held my PSU cables together and tied it to the case and around 8pin powering the GPU (below).

The GPU sag is now lower, but I have a few questions.

Is this solution safe?

Can I lead a zip tie through the hole (below), which, I suppose, is used for mounting different cooler?

Thanks in advance.

No, it's the hole right under the blue SATA in the first picture.

You can also try something like this

Referring to the plastic "wire": I think it should be, as long as it doesn't put too much strain onto the connectors, I'm not entirely sure, though...?
