I have a pc with an amd Fx-4300 and a gtx 1070. My pc had begun to shut down randomly and I have no idea why. I cut it back on and I can play for a good 30 Minutes then it cuts off again. When it gets close to shutting down if I’m playing Fortnite or any game it starts to drop frames and become laggy leading up to the shutdown anyone got any ideas what it could be? I checked all my wires and my wall outlets they are all fine. I don’t think it cuts off under load because I can just leave it sitting there on the desktop and it cuts off also. The psu is a 450 watt evga bronze 80+

Sounds like emergency shut down due to overheating. Monitor CPU and GPU temps when game and tell us what you see.

The cpu is overheated. Open the heatsink, reapply the thermal paste. And clean the heatsink from dust.

Have you verified temps? I recommend using both HWiNFO64 and AMD Overdrive. Sounds like it slowly throttles then shuts down, which does match a thermal issue.

CPU: AMD Sempron 2400+ / MOBO: Abit NF7-S2G / GPU: WinFast A180BT 64MB / RAM: Mushkin DDR333 256MBx2 / HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 120GB
