Pixel 2 problems

I was using my Pixel 2 and locked it. I placed it on my desk (gently, on a mat) and noticed that the always on didn't come on.

I went to unlock it and the screen just remained black. When I double click the power it still goes to the camera, takes photos and backs them to the cloud. I can still feel the tactile feedback from the fingerprint scanner too.

I've tried holding the power, holding it and the down button, holding power then down after it vibrates, nothing is working.

Unfortunately it was at 95% when it happened 3 days ago, just used Find My Phone and it's still at 65%, probably from the screen not being used at all and me having placed it in power saver before charging.

Anyone have any ideas? The screen has a hairline fracture but its has that for 5 months. Normally an LCD goes wonky before it dies? I had to revert back to my LG G4 and I'm not having a fun time with Android 5.1 lol
