Hi.

I'm planning to downgrade my windows 10 1809 to 1803 due to recent weird performance in some games such as bf1 etc.

My question is, is there any way I can downgrade without losing my main drive data, just the windows is downgraded?

Or will I have to format my C drive and just do a fresh install?

Keep in mind that I want the programs to work correctly after downgrading if I choose not to do a fresh install.

Is that possible?

Thank you in advance.

It should be possible, but...

Is it work for sure? I don't know.

Performance in games may be gpu driver issue - try to install earlier version. But I agree that 1809 is annoying. It has some bugs that makes me angry.

I must install different ramdisk, because M$ change something (even MSI stops publish their ramdisk because of the same strange limitation, good there are alternatives that works on 1809). My remote software (Radmin) don't detect mouse pointer shape change (they probably working on fix that). People with laptops complain about turn off screens afte 2 minutes (hidden stupid settings). Lot of "improvements" that nobody wants except maybe those who like discover how to made workarounds for new system annoying bugs. The only useful improvement for me is Win+V (clipboard memory).

So I choose different way - I'm waiting for fixes. Maybe next upgrades do not broke more stuff. And next time I'll wait much longer with upgrade.

Well pretty sure they aren't a gpu driver issue.

Amd adrenaline edition drivers just got released today, so performance should be better on those. But it wasn't the case in bf1.

I know for sure that windows has messed up something. My gut tells me that.
