Time for an upgrade. Going Ultrawide

I've narrowed it down to two options. The ASUS Designo MX34VQ and the AOC AGON AG352UCG6

 

My rig is a 7700K driving a 1070Ti, so the G-Sync on the AOC is attractive, as is the higher refresh rate. 120hz vs the ASUS's 100hz.

 

The ASUS starts to become more appealing when I consider it has supposedly better colour reproduction, and is almost $400 cheaper.

 

 

I'm sure the colour on either is better than the nearly 10 year old, and slowly dying, panel I have now. So, really it comes down to two questions:

Will I notice a difference between 100hz or 120hz?

Would I noticeably benefit from G-Sync?

 

Edit: I should mention this will mainly be used for gaming, but I also do some hobbyist level photo editing from time to time.

I for myself, really enjoy G-Sync because my 1080 isnt capable of pushing always 144fps in gta on 1440p and I dont notice that the fps sometimes drop down to the 50s where i had laggs on my old 60Hz nor g-sync panel
