Admin I'm not sure where to post this because it could be a problem with multiple components. I have a Samnsung S27A950D monitor, 2 GTX 680's and am using display port, while I was playing a game the whole screen turned red, however after restarting the PC I cant see any further problems with the monitor, GPUs or the display cable, is there something I'm not seeing?

Did you overclock your GPU?

My graphics cards are at stock

Have you tried stressing the GPU to see if the problem replicates? Maybe heat?

My graphics cards are both watercooled , but Il try the stress test when i finish refilling the loop.

So both cards are watercooled but running at stock?

But... but why?

Stress testing is probably the best way to see if you can recreate the scenario, aside from that, I can't really offer any other advice.

If it happens during stress testing, swap out different parts / monitors to see if you can locate the anomaly.

I was having really bad problems with throttling in games like BF and planet side and watercooling solved that. Also the cards weren't under stress when it happened, I was playing a game called supreme commander which uses less then half of both cards.

It may be just a simple thing like a tiny bit of dust in the pci-e slot .

Or may even just simply need to be re-seated in it's slot .

Ive once had the same issue with my old Asus GTX 460 ,after i done that it stopped .. if it consists

well ill leave that to the pro's if it's a realy old card could bake it BUT highly not recommended .

I only have done that to keep a card alive - still runs today But don't do that ! .that's

last resort if keen scenario ... Could also be just a 1 time thing ,May even be a slight hick up with

the driver ... If it doesn't happen again don't worry about it ... :) :) :) P.S. DL latest Drivers & re-seat the card in. Just to be sure.

Is it on a Windows 8 system? In that case you might look at the "red screen of death" which, to my knowledge is the software equivalent of blue screen of death. (Correct me if im wrong). :)

Ive had that on my 7950 where it was a problem with my drivers :)

If this only ever happened once I'd say its a random bug and ignore it, if it happens multiple times is a problem

Is the DisplayPort pushed all the way in? :P

Kidding, Kidding. In all seriousness, it could be a driver problem; games crash all the time on my GTX 670 due to the latest driver dying.
