Rust low GPU usage

Hello,

i uncaped my fps in rust so i can get over 100fps so this isnt a problem.

But my gpu usage is around 50-60% and my cpu around 30%(no core above 50%)

So i would like to get more fps because im playing on a 144hz monitor.

can someone help?

CPU: Intel Core i7 8700k @4,7Ghz
Cooler: be quite! Dark Rock 3
GPU: Asus RTX 2070 Strix
RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance 3000Mhz
MB: Asus Z370-F Strix
SSD: 500GB Samsung 850 evo
PSU: 600W be quiet Straight Power 10 CM Modular
Case: be quite! Dark Base 700
OS: Windows 10 Pro

having same issue with my newly GTX 1070Ti.
I feel like there is something wrong with NVIDIA DRIVERs.

every other game is fine for me only rust is behaving like this

Try running the game on max setting than check the GPU usage.

well it is higher as expected but only around 80% too.

Yes but it also depends on how well is the game optimization is.
Considering RUST is well knows as badly optimized game.
