Hi i am looking for advice about my alienware x51 r2 my specs are below i have been asking alienware but they are little to no help i am looking at upgrading my graphics card and since the only one they recommend is gtx 970 but cost more and uses more power and are bigger than a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 Zotac Mini 6GB i was wondering if anyone would no if it would be ok to just buy one and install it i am currently using a Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti Asus OC 2GB Edition

If your power supply can power it and if it fits in your case, it might work. What CPU are you using? You can always buy a GPU from a decent retailer and if it does not work, return it. Also look into EVGA GPU. They have small 1060 cards
