Seems like more of a fream build. You pretty much just chose the most expensive crap you could find. That cooler has been proven to not be ANYWHERE near the price for its value. May as well get a H150 or x62. $200 on LED fans?..cmon...

$1k for RAM

$500 for the motherboard.

I say this is just a "dream build" post all day long.

that mobo is horrible. a fake 8 phase power design, which ends up as a effective 4 phase design. I would rather get the aorus master

Aorus is Gigabyte, right? I didn't neccesarily want RGB, but since everything is RGB nowadays, I wanted it all compatible... so I went with ASUS, but that is good advice. Thanks. I'll think on that!

well, as you might have guessed do asus product not sync up with aorus boards. It's just that they made a horrible mistake with the boards on the z390, that you are even better off with the z370. The aorus (yes gigabyte), especially the master is about the best you can get

It is a dream build. I've used the crappiest stuff around, like this (was a 'gift'). So, yeah, I'm saving up, and I'm going to get the most expensive stuff. But... The part about the cooler is true... And the LED fans are in case I find a good reason to have them, I'm probably not going to get those anyway.

why wouldn't you rather get something good now, and upgrade it down the line? You can get some great builds for around 1000-1500 bucks for the tower, and you won't miss out on that much. for that money you can get a second hand car

Mistake? What'd they do...? Only chose the z390 boards for a few reasons. One, they work with the i9-9900k and they will work with the i7-8700K, in case I decide that I want to get the 8700k, then later upgrade to i9-9900k when I have the money. Two, that specific board is EATX. I got a big case in case I install a water cooling loop later. I wanted a motherboard that fit snugly into the case.

well, it does work. but you should get into what power phases are. The board is effectivly a 4 phase power design for the psu, my pro carbon has more. The power phases on the master have 3 times as many to (theoraticly) deliver. it's a waste of your money to spend that much on a mobo, that effectivly has a power delivery of a budget board

I want to build something that I won't have to upgrade for a while (I'm a lazy bum). That way, once built, I can keep it that way for a while before upgrading. I can save up a lot of money for upgrades too if I take my time to upgrade. And you have a point, I can get some build for way less. I have literally been planning this build for almost 2 years now, so I want on that, frankly, would probably be overkill for some people...

for some? for like everyone. this is meant for the people that have money to burn. your motherboard and ram is as much as my whole tower.

Um, you don't need 64GB of RAM for gaming, I would just get 16 or 32.

Good point. But..

I really don't care for overkill. But I might downgrade to 32. Though I will be doing more than gaming. I'll be rendering stuff sometimes.

I don't have the money at the moment. That's why this a build plan. I'm saving up for it. I want a something that is a major step up from this

example 1: a really high end pc, only half of the price

a pretty good system, a fifth of the price.

I just wanted to show you what you can get. You can leave it, you can do something with it. the choise is yours

Oh yeah just some more tips, that AIO is way overpriced and the 1600W power supply is a massive waste of money.

(You only need a GT730 to run FNAF.)

Yeah, I heard. But with the PSU, I wanted tons of headway and expandibility in case, but I probably will downgrade to maybe 1200W, which is still a lot, but better than 1600...

AMD is a great choice, and arguably makes a cheaper build. But... I don't know... I guess I've always used Intel. I might move to AMD at some point. But I want my first build to be... Symbolic in a way. Though if I get bored of waiting on saving up, I may switch to AMD just for the sake of price. Though I heard TR series was good.

well, as said, in the end it's your choise. I think you can make some great changes. But i'm only here to tell my own prefferences based on the ones from the others

Yep.  I always welcome feedback, it helps to know what others think. Keeps me from making bad choices. You should have seen my original build choice. It was bad. And it would not have worked due to several compatibility choice.
