144Hz with a 1060 will require medium/low in modern titles, but 1070 will be a lot for 1080p, so if you have to get one or the other first, get whichever you can get a good deal on. Buying a used 1070 and selling your 1060 is the ideal way to go about it

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

For 1060 3gb you might wanna buy another 8gb memory. If the game required more than 3gb VRAM, it will use your system memory. If it cannot find any room in the memory, it will use your ssd. If this happens, it will massively slow down the game.

Get 144hz first as you can tweak the 1060 to get more than 60 fps in low settings.

My suggestion:

- Add ram

- Get 144hz

- Buy 1070

Ryzen 5700g @ 4.4ghz all cores | Asrock B550M Steel Legend | 3060 | 2x 16gb Micron E 2666 @ 4200mhz cl16 | 500gb WD SN750 | 12 TB HDD | Deepcool Gammax 400 w/ 2 delta 4000rpm push pull | Antec Neo Eco Zen 500w
