What GPU to buy for no compromise 1080p gaming

Alright, I'm looking to build my first gaming PC this year and I'm stuck on choosing a GPU that can handle with no compromises lightweight games like league of legends overwatch and other MOBA games and also games like destiny 2 and Battlefield 1 very highly modded Skyrim and such.

Rtx 20 series GPU can handle them if you are willing to spend large sum of money. Otherwise gtx 1070 , 1070 ti ,1080, 1080 ti can work nicely too

My Laptop :- Lenovo Y50-70 -CPU i7- 4710HQ, RAM 16 GB , GPU Gtx 860m 4GB, Storage 1TB HDD + 128GB SSD

1070ti/Vega56 are overkill in reaching and maintaining 60fps, but to be free to up the settings at 144fps target you'll need 2080.

I would go for a 1080ti but there is no manufacturer that I trust in my country so I guess I'll go with the 1070ti

I'd recommend going GTX 1070 or maybe 1070ti if it's only a little more (like less than £30/$40 more). Those cards will be fine for 1080p gaming for the foreseeable future. I'm in the same situation and I'll say right now it's what I'm getting for Christmas for just that reason. I've been on a GTX 960 for the last 3 years and it's a nearly 4 year old chip at this point. I am really looking forwards to my upgrade
