What is the CPU, GPU and power supply. Also what is the CPU cooler/temps during play. Use HW monitor, real temp to see. Look for the max on a gaming session. 62.5C is what AMD says is the max.

Your system specifications would be nice to have for us to assess.

A water-cooled mid-tier gaming PC.

like drivers ?

Maybe. It could be a bad PSU, or possibly a video card, but the PSU you have with the chip/video card and no OC is fine as far as how much power you need. A bad psu will give you all kinds of problems.

You can try drivers, run malwarebytes in safe mode (press f8 during boot) to eliminate software. If that doesn't work then you can stress test the cpu to eliminate it and the PSU (maybe use something like Asus realbench or Aida to keep temps low if you have no aftermarket fan). Like the other guy said I would try the APU and see if that solves it also.

It could be several things. Finding the problem is done by eliminating stuff one at a time, until only one thing can remain. Power supply is the biggest pain in the butt, cus it can make everything appear to be bad.

I would probably start with eliminating software or try using the APU.

LOL.

Looks like you really know AMD CPUs.....

Couple things.

If this happens 10-20 minutes into a game with a pink screen that is usually an indicator of GPU having issues. Chances are if it was a CPU issue and it was getting hot it would either BSOD or just turn off. A pink screen would point me away from the CPU as an issue.

Try putting the GPU into another computer and seeing if the issue follows the GPU. Also make sure to check temps with MSI Afterburner & VRM temp with GPU-Z. Sometimes you will get a faulty card sent back to you.
