Ok, it's time for new headset..i'm looking for something only for play games. I already have logitech g35 but sourrond effects does not satisfy me. In these days i've read many forum and reviews and this is the point:

many user say  : get good stereo headset and maybe virtualize sourround effect.

Well, ok...but i still prefere surround (real or not) headset..SO:

a) what stereo headset do yuo raccomanded?

b ) what surround headset do yuo raccomanded?

I really like roccat headset and the "3 way drivers" set up..the last kave XTD is gorgeous

I would buy a real headphone with that kind of budget and a separate mic. At first when I didn't know anything about audio I went and bought a Razer Megalodon and Astro A40  and then I got more into audio and bought an Audio Technica ATH-M50 (For Music) and an Audio Technica AD700x with an Astro Mix Amp for PC use and let me tell you there is no comparison between real headphones and "gaming headphones" the real literally were WAY but WAY better. But if you insist on having a gaming headset I heard that the Sennheiser PC 360 Headset for Pro Gaming are really good. Hope this helps :D

Roger. But there are tons of regular headset and the point is that you have to try it before buying

I think these days i spend about 4/5 hours on amazon/forum/reviw user about it and at the end i'm think to buy one from that

Audio technica ATH-M50

Beyerdynamic DT 990

Beyerdynamic DT 770 pro

Honestly i was sure to buy AT M50 for good quality in music/manufacturing but soundstage isn't so good...HD598 is too flat in terms of bass/mids....Well..it's more difficult than what i was expected

It really depends on what you do.

And even which Pc Games you play.

So List it up! :D

Ok...a friend of mine give me a pair of AT ATH-M50 for testing...i can't belive at my ears.

Music: Tested metallica, deftones, Knife party, Africa Unite, Led Zeppelig, Morgan, some funk..i can hear cymbal vibrate after crashing, fingers on bass cord, drum stik hit snare's rim.

Games: Tested in borderlands 2, battlefield 4 (xonoar dg with Dolby Headphones activated). Great, the 5.1 effect is ok but the real deal is the increase of details on hghs/mids tones.

I don't want to buy another headset without test it...so that's it. Amazing. Tomorrow i'm gonna to order

glad you liked what you heard. this is the exact detail that is missing in the dt770 but the 770 has a more detailed bass and soundstage.
