Planning an upgrade

I want to upgrade my motherboard + cpu for around €500. 


Currently using:

  • Intel i5-6600k
  • Asus z170 motherboard

What should I buy?

16GB DDR3-1600Mhz

Nvidea GTX 1050Ti

About 5GB or less left on C:, which is 250GB. Total storage around 2.5TB

2 monitors 1080p@60hz

Why do you want to upgrade? 6600k is still a great CPU.

When I'm recording my cpu is at 100% and while running a vm and running other programs the vm is using like 60% of my cpu. So that are some reasons that I want to upgrade.

What do you exactly mean with 'where are you buying'? If you mean country, I live in The Netherlands.
And yeah, more cores and more clock speed would be nice.

And a aftermarket cooler so you can overclock it a bit, and you'll have a better combo for less.
