I need a good router for my house, I have $140 to spend.

It will be in my basement and my house has 2 floors other than the basement (Laptop is on the top floor)

I would like the one with the best features and speed, unfortunately they must be from http://www.canadacomputers.com/ and have to be in stock in Burlington (Check under Stock Level)

Here has what I have found:

Asus RT-n66u

Personally, I got the Linksys EA3500 and I live in 2 a level house.

My internet plan is 50Mbit/s (but i can actually get about 55Mbit/s if I hock up to the modem directly) Throughout the house I get excellent WiFi connection with speeds ranging from 48Mbit/s in the furthest room from the router and up to 54Mbit/s in the closest.

For $140, you can go with the Linksys EA4500 which got an even stronger signal.

A good thing to try is find the routers in stock near you and look them up on say Amazon or Newegg. Just read the reviews and see what people say about them. I know it's easier to get a quick answer from someone on the forum but in return you learn absolutely nothing about the choice you are making. 5 people can recommend the same Linksys router but who says it's going to fit your every need. Make a informed decision before you buy and it's better to inform yourself :)
