Most MMOs with an f2p model severely hinder progress unless you subscribe or buy passes or unlocks.

 

An example is WoW with its Starter Edition account service. It's fully free to play until you hit a hard wall at level 20 (your XP past this point is stored though) and you cannot interact with others in a meaningful way unless they invite you to a group or whisper you first. You also have a gold cap that you will certainly reach before reaching level 20.

Other tech: Surface Pro 4 (i5/128GB), Lenovo Ideapad Y510P w/ Kali, OnePlus 6T (8G/128G), PS4 Slim.

TF2 is free and only has a shrunk backpack (but every christmas you get a backpack expander)

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.
