Is it pump related or because of the aluminum/aluminium or just bad materials in general?
Would the there be a big difference in overall temperature between two AIO's and a good full custom loop?

Its just entry level kit which will give entry like performance. Its not bad it just not great either. Plus when upgrade time comes around your stuck as the whole system is Aluminum and your likely to rebuild the loop. rather than just getting new this or new that and adding it in.

A xspc kit would be better at almost the same price

or go with swiftech aio which happens to expandable.

IF i went full custom loop i'd go down the rabbit hole and  spend more on my cooling than i did building my rig... it why I stay away from it, but that just me.

Hi everyone, I'm unsure if I should go for a custom water loop (specifically the EK A240G) or if I should get an AIO for my GPU (specifically an NZXT Kraken x42) with the G12 bracket.
As I already got a Kraken x62 for my CPU, I'm not completely sure which option I should go for. Budget or money isn't an issue though. I just want a cool and quiet system. ?
Also, would the A240G even be sufficient to keep my whole system down considering it's a 240 rad for both CPU and GPU?

My case: Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX TG
CPU: i7 8700k (delidded)
GPU: 1080Ti FE

Any opinions and suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Should I go for the EK A240G (and sell my x62)? Or even the EK A360G if necessary?
Or should I just buy the x42 with the G12 bracket for my GPU?

The A240G is pretty crap.

Save up for a full custom loop with proper components, which will be $500+, or just stick to AIOs.
